Harney & Sons' Tower of London Blend is a richly evocative tea that conjures the opulence of Elizabethan preserves—flavorful, aromatic, and utterly tempting.

This distinctive blend begins with robust Chinese black teas, layered with dried stone fruit pieces for a naturally sweet depth. A hint of oil of bergamot and a touch of honey flavor complete the profile, resulting in a complex, satisfying cup that lingers delightfully on the palate.

Part of the Historic Royal Palaces Collection, the Tower of London Blend has quickly become one of Harney & Sons’ most beloved teas—housed in a striking amethyst-colored tin inspired by the grandeur of its namesake landmark.

Each HRP tin contains 30 tea sachets.

Each sachet brews one 12 oz. cup of tea.

Features

  • Details: Few buildings have the history of the Tower of London. First, it was a fort. Then it became the royal prison, so there were some unhappy endings here. It has even stored the Crown Jewels. So when Harney & Sons was commissioned by the Historic Royal Palaces to do a tea in honor of it, they took it seriously (who wants to do time there?) The color of the tin is inspired by the rich tones of amethyst.
  • Dry Leaves: The Chinese leaves are medium-sized and black.
  • Liquor: The liquor is medium to dark brown.
  • Aroma: A wonderfully refreshing tea with fruity aromas, vanilla, and undertones of honey.
  • Flavors: This tea is complicated, like the Tower itself. It has flavors similar to Earl Grey, Vanilla and Black Currant. There is also a nice touch of honey.
  • Caffeine Level: Caffeinated
