Imagine a golden jar of Piedmont’s delicate acacia honey, slowly infused with paper-thin slices of Italian white truffle. It’s soft and floral at first, then deepens with the rich earthiness of truffle—an unexpected harmony that lingers. Drizzle it over aged Pecorino, finish a warm crostini, or sneak a spoonful straight from the jar. It’s the kind of luxury that doesn’t need an occasion.
Elegant, yet quietly indulgent, this honey whispers of forest floors, cellar-aged cheese, and candlelit dinners in old stone kitchens.

The Story Behind the Jar
Tartuflanghe began in 1968, when chef Giuseppe Montanaro opened a restaurant in Alba dedicated to mushrooms and truffles. In 1975, he and his wife Domenica founded the Tartuflanghe brand—rooted in Piedmontese tradition, but with a vision for preserving truffle flavor year-round. Their breakthrough came with the world’s first truffle pasta, followed by award-winning risottos, sauces, and confections.
Today, the company is run by the second generation—Stefania and Paolo—who remain true to their parents' hands-on approach. Tartuflanghe now harvests truffles from over 20 hectares of forest and produces everything in-house, from their iconic savory spreads to their chocolate Trifulot pralines. Yet, their goal remains unchanged: to craft foods that are honest, refined, and rooted in the land they call home.
