The story of Totally Bamboo began in North Hollywood, where Tom and Joanne Sullivan first used bamboo to craft lightweight director’s chairs for movie sets. Discovering its incredible strength and renewability, they began turning leftover bamboo scraps into cutting boards—and they sold out in minutes at a local art fair. That small success became a big idea, and Totally Bamboo was born.
