About Hoptimist

In the late 1960s, Danish designer Gustav Ehrenreich had a simple idea: create something that could remind people to stay positive. It was a turbulent time, and his cheerful, bouncing figures offered a small but welcome reason to smile.

Bimble and Bumble were the first Hoptimists he created. Bimble, with her smiling eyes and dress, and Bumble, the curious little fellow with a tuft on his head, soon became beloved examples of Danish design. Decades later, Hoptimists are still bouncing around homes and offices across the world, spreading the same playfulness, optimism, and joy Ehrenreich imagined from the beginning.
