Rinse hair with water. Towel hair dry to slightly damp. Put on the enclosed rubber gloves. Cut open packets 1 & 2 along the cut lines. Gently squeeze equal amounts from each packet into a non-porous container and mix for 5 to 10 seconds (or apply directly to hair).
Place the mixture from packets 1 & 2 on hair, starting from the temples. Gently massage the mixture into hair until it is uniformly lathered. For short to medium hair length, massage for a maximum of 5 minutes. For longer hair, massage for up to 6-8 minutes.
Allow the lather to sit for 10-15 minutes if applying Black or Dark Brown, and 20-35 minutes for all other colors. If the room temperature falls below 68°F (20°C), let the lather sit for an additional 5 minutes.
Wash and rinse hair thoroughly, then towel dry. If using a hair dryer to dry or style hair, avoid using high temperatures, as it will affect the color results.
